Our Promise
Backed for the journey.
We build Oak Buck goods to serve the everyday and grow more personal with time. Our warranty stands behind the materials and craftsmanship that make that possible.

Limited Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
Made to last. Made right when it doesn’t.
If an Oak Buck product fails during normal intended use because of a covered defect in materials or craftsmanship, we will evaluate it and repair it whenever reasonably possible. If it cannot be repaired, we will provide a comparable replacement or store credit.
Coverage period
What “lifetime” means.
This limited warranty lasts for the reasonable functional life of the Oak Buck product while it remains owned by the original purchaser and is used for its intended purpose. “Lifetime” refers to the product’s functional life—not the purchaser’s lifetime.
Craftsmanship
What is covered.
This warranty covers verified defects in materials or workmanship arising during normal intended use, including:
- Stitching that pulls apart or fails prematurely
- Hardware that breaks or separates during normal use
- Structural seams or bonded components that fail
- Leather that splits because of a verified material defect
- Construction defects that prevent the product from performing its intended function
The marks of use
What is not covered.
Leather records the life lived with it. Natural changes and damage unrelated to our workmanship are not covered, including:
- Patina, darkening, softening, color changes, grain variation, scars, or wrinkles
- Surface scratches, stains, scuffs, cosmetic wear, or normal stretching
- Damage caused by overfilling or carrying unintended objects
- Water saturation, mold, excessive heat, chemicals, or improper storage
- Accidents, misuse, neglect, animal damage, or intentional damage
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications
- Loss, theft, or products purchased from unauthorized sellers
- Normal depletion of replaceable or non-leather components unless stated otherwise
Repair first
Preserving the piece.
Repair is our preferred remedy because a well-used piece carries a story worth preserving. If Oak Buck confirms a covered defect, we will determine whether repair, replacement, or store credit is the appropriate remedy.
Repair materials, thread, hardware, leather tone, and construction details may differ from the original. If the original design is unavailable, a replacement may be the closest comparable product then offered.
Warranty service
Starting a claim.
Email us with your name, contact information, order number or other proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the entire product and affected area. We may request the product for inspection before approving a remedy.
For an approved U.S. claim, Oak Buck will provide return instructions and cover standard shipping back to you after service. Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Oak Buck unless we confirm otherwise. International shipping, duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility unless required by law.
